WINE REVIEW

Tilia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

"The 2009 Tilia Cabernet Sauvignon has a dark purple color with ruby red tones. The nose is full of ripe red fruits, sweet spice and a touch of tobacco. The mouthfeel shows red currant and cassis fruit layered with notes of cedar and espresso bean. The finish is soft and sweet, with finely grained tannins adding structure and length."

La Noble Merlot (2005)

Description:

Languedoc (France) is a vast region, sometimes referred to as the "wine lake" of Europe.  What makes La Noble Merlot special is the careful selection of vineyards and grapes that go into the wine. It is based on the wines of Domaine La Noble located west of Carcassonne in the village of Pennautier.

If you’re used to the extremely fruity, soft, alcoholic style of many New World Merlots, you’ll discover in La Noble Merlot a wine that has a greater sense of terroir.

If you’re not afraid of a wine with character, than this wine is for you. It’s meant to be enjoyed over a casual meal with friends, the conversation focusing on life and companions instead of the wine in your glass.

A wine that has a lot to offer in the bouquet for a simple country wine. Aromas of ripe plums with notes of spice and green pepper in the background. A mouthful of dense fruit on the palate with a solid backbone of firm tannins leading to a smooth finish.
