WINE REVIEW

Tilia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

"The 2009 Tilia Cabernet Sauvignon has a dark purple color with ruby red tones. The nose is full of ripe red fruits, sweet spice and a touch of tobacco. The mouthfeel shows red currant and cassis fruit layered with notes of cedar and espresso bean. The finish is soft and sweet, with finely grained tannins adding structure and length."

Clare Valley Sangiovese (2008)

Description:

From Claire Valley, South Australia comes a wine of unsurpassed hue and taste. A Bronze Medal winner at the Clare Wine Show was well deserved and points you in the direction of a fine wine. This is a low preservative wine for those who find that they cannot tolerate high levels in their wines. Sourced form mature vineyards, the vibrant purple/violet colour together with the lifted aromas of berry, mint and pepper conspire to enchant your senses and leave you gasping for more.

It’s lively character of dark chocolate and black cherries with subdued vanilla and subtle natural tannins will have you asking for more only to be seduced by the long lingering flavours on the finish. A celebratory wine for special occasions to be served with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine as well as light snacks.
